CLICKNL started the project CIRCO ("Creating business through circular design"), in the Netherlands in early 2015. CIRCO aims to train designers and other creative professionals for their role as circular change agents; it inspires and facilitates companies to start their circular business, by designing and implementing circular value propositions through combining circular products, services and business models. 100 designers and 200 Dutch companies have already participated in the project, which has led to a positive brand reputation. One of the project’s upcoming objectives is to assess whether there is potential to share their approach throughout Europe, via a growing international CIRCO trainers’ network. CIRCO will meet BEDA on Friday, 27 October from 10:00 to 12:00 (at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven), when the management team will present the CIRCO project to BEDA members, and explore possible opportunities for cooperation to spread Circular Design knowledge and methods of CIRCO across Europe. Are you keen to join us? If you are interested, please let us know by sending an email to circo@clicknl.nl before October 13.
