BEDA Design Forum 2022 was held on 13 October in Kaunas, Lithuania.

BEDA invited everyone interested in design and BEDA to attend our Design Forum – BEDA’s first Unconference. The Open Space framework allowed all participants to get involved in hands-on sessions, form discussions and exchange ideas under the central theme of The Future of Design.

The BEDA Design Forum happened during Kaunas Design Festival, which provided many cultural activities alongside our Forum. The International Forum of Design Networks on 14 October was also held during Kaunas Design Festival. This was also an opportunity meet other relevant organisations across design sector like ICoD, UNESCO Cities of Design, World Design Capital Valencia 2022 and others.


Collaborate and meet the BEDA Board in Kaunas

BEDA Board members work in different working groups progressing their mission across a range of topics. Join forces with Andrew Bradley, Regina Hanke and Martin Fössleitner working on the future operations of BEDA. Piotr Swiatek, Isabelle Vérilhac, Lars Eriksson and Ingrid van der Wacht will look into different aspects of the design policy work. Read more about the background of BEDA’s Board members HERE.

9:30-18:30 INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF DESIGN NETWORKS

Main theme: Human City Grid
The event will feature various meetings, seminars, and conferences. The Forum is a part of the Kaunas Design Festival organized by Kaunas – European Capital of Culture 2022.
