Andrew Bradley

Board member of the Design & Craft council of Ireland


Soon after qualifying as an Industrial Designer at the National College of Art & Desgin, Dublin, Andrew realised that his interests lay in mentoring companies realise the potential of design and set out on a career in design management. He secured a scholarship to undertake a Masters Degree in Environment Design at the Univeristy of Calgary, Canada graduating in 1989.

Andrew is an entrepreneur in the Irish design sector having successfully built his own design management and brand strategy consultancy. In 1994 and 1996 he secure the contract to organise the European Design Prize on behalf of The European Commission, DGXIII.

Today his company Bradley Brand specialises in working with those who have an entrepreneurial sprit to solve problems and identify opportunities using creative thinking process driven by actionable business insights.

Throughout his career, Andrew has been an active member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and was President from 2013 to 2015. In 2017 he was a ministerial appointment to the Board of the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland.
